Boxsmall is a summertime pop-up outdoor market in Edinburgh held on the roof of Princes Mall at the corner of Waverley Bridge and Princes Street, featuring a variety of quality, hand-picked local independent retailers, amazing food outlets, fantastic children’s activities, a bar and even live entertainment.
We’ve been very busy selling a wide range of items which can be personalised while you wait - a feature which has been a big draw for both tourists and locals alike. Top sellers have been rucksacks (a few back to school gifts, I suspect) and rag dolls, and although we have limited space we have as much variety as we could possibly squeeze in.
As seems to be usual for Edinburgh in the summer, the sun hasn’t always shone(!), but our ‘box’ and the Boxsmall area is almost entirely under cover and provides a relaxing escape not only from the showers but the hustle and bustle of the nearby streets.
We are at Boxsmall daily until 31st August from 10.00am – 7.00pm, so please take some time out and come and say hello!

After many months of planning, designing and sourcing high quality gifts we are finally ready to announce our website is live!!! We're so excited to be able to bring you our range of personalised gifts and presents, each of which has been specially selected as we're a bit of a fussy bunch and we want to make sure that we only provide you with things that we'd be delighted to give or receive ourselves!
Although our website has only just gone live, we've been trading for a few months in our local area in Edinburgh and the feedback we've had so far has been amazing, particularly from the children who have received our gifts. Nothing can match being told you're "epic" and "awesome" (to name but a few of the compliments!) from a child with a beaming face.
We will be adding more and more products over the coming weeks so keep checking back regularly. You'll find a huge range of quality, unique presents for a new baby, for birthdays from 1 to 101, weddings, engagements, christenings, retirements, back to school, graduations and more. Presents for babies, children, teenagers, brides, grooms, best men, bridesmaids, mums, dads, grandparents, teachers and even pets!
If you want to keep up with everything we're up to then please subscribe to our mailing list. We promise we'll not inundate you with emails but we will let you know about new products, special offers that we'll be running from time to time, and ideas about gifts for upcoming occasions such as mothers day, valentines or christmas!
